Christine Gibbs is the Assistant Principal of an F-12 school for autistic students in Melbourne, Australia. She holds a Bachelor of Education and a Master’s Degree in Special Education. With over 25 years of experience in education, Christine has taught in Canada, South Korea, England, and Australia, providing a global perspective on inclusive teaching practices. Passionate about achieving the best outcomes for all students, she has led the development and implementation of a Pedagogical Model to enhance inclusive practices for autistic learners. Christine also created an outreach service to support the inclusion of neurodivergent students in local mainstream schools. Additionally, she works casually at the University of Melbourne with the Master of Learning Intervention team and is co-authoring a book on teaching strategies for neurodiverse learners.
