Greetings from Cambridge!
Many of you are familiar with the African proverb that beautifully articulates the importance of teamwork: "It takes a village to raise a child." In this spirit of collaboration, we’ve revised the Data Wise tagline to be educators collaborating so all students thrive. We hope you agree that these six words capture the essence of what Data Wise is all about.
In this newsletter, we provide multiple forms of evidence (!) that the spirit of teamwork is alive and well across our community.

The Data Wise Community is Growing
Over 25,000 people from 159 countries have enrolled in our free online course, Introduction to Data Wise, and hundreds have engaged in the intentional collaboration that is central to our on-campus and virtual institutes. This year we accepted our largest class ever of candidates for coach certification and 15 dynamic educators joined the ranks of Certified Data Wise Coaches.
We are now accepting applications to the coach certification program and institutes; see below for deadlines.
Collaborative Inquiry at the System Level
As our community grows, it becomes increasingly important to document the good work that is happening in the field so that everyone can learn from it. Some examples:
