#  Kimberly Harris-Pappin

Dr. Harris-Pappin has been an educator in the Rochester City School District for 30 years. Having served as a building principal for the past 16 years, she was recently appointed as the Executive Director of Integrated Literacy.

Dr. Harris-Pappin attended the State University College at Oneonta, earning a Bachelor of Science in education, with a minor in Educational Psychology. She earned her Master of Science in Educational Administration and an advanced certification in School Administration and Supervision, from State University at Brockport. In addition, she earned a Doctor of Education and Executive Leadership and an Advanced Certification in School District Leader from St. John Fisher College.

She is the proud mother of Chanderess, Damien, Shyenne and Trinity and the “mema” of Kimbrance, Kaice, Kaiden, Kingston and Aubrey Grey. She’s also a member of the Redeem Bethel Church of God in Christ and the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.

Over the past two years, she has enjoyed working with national Leaders from School Leaders of Color Collective (SLOCC); a program initiative to build transformative communities and support networks of Black and Hispanic/Latinx principals to thrive, sustain and expand their impact, ensuring the social emotional and academic success of all students and the communities in which they live.
