Adam Parrot-Sheffer

Adam Parrott-Sheffer is an adjunct faculty member in professional education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a lecturer at the University of Chicago. Since 2009, he has used the Data Wise Improvement process as a school leader and a district leader to improve learning for children and adults. His work seeks to redesign systems to empower those at the margins of our communities and to develop leaders who center the experiences of young people in improvement processes. 

Parrott-Sheffer is co-author of System Wise: Continuous Improvement at Scale and Entry Planning for Equity Focused Leaders: Empowering Schools and Communities. He holds an Ed.L.D. in Education and Leadership & an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership and Administration from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, an M.Ed. in Education Policy Analysis from the University of Pennsylvania, and a B.A. in Humanities from the University of Illinois-Urbana.
