David Rease Jr.

David Rease, Jr. is the Director of Equity, Diversity, and Belonging in Prince George's County Public Schools, MD. Formerly, he was the director of Continuous Systemic Improvement in the same system. He began his career as a high school social studies and then held a series of roles that deepened his knowledge of improving instruction at scale, and he credits his early-career consulting role at McREL International for igniting his passion for this work. While he has held several roles and titles, David most identifies professionally as a teacher. It is the most significant role he’s held, and he brings those skills to his daily work with adult learners. 

Rease holds an Ed.L.D. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, an M.A.T. from Duke University, and a B.A. in History from Columbia University.
