April is a Director of School Support for the Achievement Network, working in partnership with two large school districts in western Massachusetts. In this role, she coaches school leaders in instructional leadership with a focus on data-driven decision-making and equity. Previous to this role, April was a teacher and then principal of Berkshire Arts and Technology (BART) Charter Public School in Adams, MA, where she first learned the Data Wise Improvement Process in a hands-on fashion while participating in a strategic school turn-around.
