Carrie Frohnapfel - Data Wise Certified Coach

Carrie Frohnapfel, Ed.D., is an IDEA Training and Consultation Coordinator for the Allegheny Intermediate Unit. Her areas of concentration include supporting schools and districts as a School-wide Facilitator in the PA PBS Network, as well as work on the behavior, autism, and inclusive practices initiatives. She spent several years supporting the Gaskin Advisory panel for Least Restrictive Environment and worked to support schools and districts in co-teaching, scheduling for inclusive practices as well as implementation of adaptations and modifications in the general education classroom.

Carrie has worked as an educational consultant for the Pennsylvania Training and Technical Assistance Network (PATTAN) and began her career as an emotional support teacher for the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit. Carrie holds a bachelor’s degree in Special Education from Misericordia University, a master’s degree in Special Education and Leadership from Saint Joseph’s University, and her doctorate in Educational Leadership from Point Park University. She holds a Pennsylvania certificate in Special Education, K-12, Principal and Special Education Supervision, as well as a Superintendent’s Letter of Eligibility.

She has been an educator for over 20 years. She often says most of her career was spent in the middle school setting, so it’s fair to say that she also has a bit of a “middle school mentality”. She spends her free time as a part-time runner and full-time dog mom to Eddy and Jack.
