Danielle is passionate about supporting students’ academic success, college and career readiness, and social-emotional development while using data to show the impact of school counseling and other support services. She is currently a second-year doctoral student in the Education Leadership Program at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and has co-authored two books on elementary and secondary school counseling. Prior to beginning at Harvard, Danielle worked as a school counselor, counseling grant project director, adjunct faculty member, and Director of Professional Development for Hatching Results. Danielle also served as the President of the California Association of School Counselors and was involved in Michelle Obama’s Reach Higher Initiative to support postsecondary readiness and success for students across the state. Danielle is looking forward to starting her residency in Round Rock Independent School District near Austin, Texas, working with the Future Readiness Department to continue supporting improved educational opportunities for every student.
