Dia N. Bryant

DiaDia Bryant is a Doctoral Candidate in the Ed.LD program. Dia is deeply focused on strengthening outcomes for students of color in urban communities similar to her hometown - Detroit, MI. Dia’s commitment to urban education began as a New York City Teaching Fellow in 2004. After serving in the capacities of teacher, math coach, new teacher trainer, and founding principal, she maintains a deep conviction that “all children can learn,” given an environment that is academically focused, emotionally supportive, diverse, data driven, physically, and psychologically safe. Soon, Dia will depart for residency with the New York City Department of Education. Upon Graduation in 2020, Dia hopes to impact a major American city in its quest to create diverse and equitable learning environments for children, adults, families and communities.
