Jennifer Swingler
Dr. Jennifer Sinal Swingler is the Supervisor of Secondary English Language Arts for New Haven Public Schools, New Haven, Connecticut, USA. Dr. Swingler has taught at the pre-school, middle school, high school, graduate and doctoral levels with a concentration in reading research, ELA, and Educational Leadership. While reading and writing are her priority professional interests, Recognized as an expert in the field of curriculum design, Dr. Swingler has recently accepted an invitation from the Connecticut State Department of Education to serve on the committee researching and creating a model curriculum for High School English Language Arts. Her award winning research Making Meaning Of Middle School Reading Intervention For Students And Teachers: Team Teaching Action Research has prompted nearly a decade of work in the field of SRBI and MTSS. She is the vice president of the CTCTE and served as the president for two terms.
