My name is PJ Miller. I have worked with teachers and students of the Harrisburg School District for over six year. In that time, I have been a 3rd grade classroom teacher, elementary math interventionist, and elementary instruction coach. I have recently shifted positions back to math intervention to support students from K-12, both in person and virtually. As a math interventionist, I am constantly using data to monitor student progress and to identify new students who require additional support in math.
I received my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Millersville University (Millersville, PA) in 2013 and my Master’s Degree in Teaching and Curriculum from Penn State University (Harrisburg, PA) in 2020. During my time at Penn State, I took additional courses to receive my Math Coach Endorsement (PK-12) and Instructional Coach Endorsement (PK-12). I am excited to work with and support the teachers of Harrisburg School District over the course of the year as they develop their data literacy and learn all of the tools that the Data Wise process has to offer.
