Sara Quay

Sara Quay is Dean of the School of Education at Endicott College and the Director of the Endicott Scholars Honors Program. Dr. Quay received her Ph.D.from Brandeis University, her M.A. from Simmons College, and her B.A.from Boston College. She holds an initial license in English (8-12) from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. In her work with teacher preparation in the state of Massachusetts, Dr. Quay has worked closely with the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education to pilot new standards and initiatives. In 2014, she led one of the first higher education teams to attend the Data Wise Summer Institute. She has shared this work with other educator preparation stakeholders throughout the state and recently was the focus of a Data Quality Campaign brief on using data to improve educator preparation.
