Steven A. Chambers is a candidate in the Doctor of Education Leadership (Ed.LD) program at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. He has over a decade of experience as a classroom teacher, college advising counselor, school district administrator, and religious/community leader. At the heart of his work is a deep desire to ensure every student and their families, have exposure and access to the tools necessary to compete in a society propped up on the marginalization of targeted communities. Steven served the Houston community in the aforementioned roles on a mission to empower students, parents, and communities with the agency to advocate for educational equity. He believes that the infusion of intentional data analysis into systems of education is a key lever for transforming the student and family experience.
