Amy Alkiewicz
Amy Alkiewicz is currently the Director of Educational Improvement Services for the Office of School Innovation in the Rochester City School District. Amy has been an educator in Rochester, New York since 2005 and has also served in the roles of special education teacher, teacher coordinator of special education, restorative practices coach, building level administrator, and director of Special Education.
Amy received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary and Special Education from the State of New York College at Geneseo, her Master of Science in Inclusive Education from Nazareth College, and completed her administrative coursework at the University of Rochester Warner School of Education. She is passionate about supporting schools to provide equitable instruction to diverse learners and implementing high-leverage instructional practices that are driven by data.
Amy has two teenage daughters and spends her free time attending their lacrosse and soccer events. In addition to spending time with her loved ones, she finds inspiration through yoga, nature, and self-care practices.
