Carlos Monteiro

Prior to joining the Data Inquiry Facilitator team in Boston Public Schools (BPS), Carlos taught Math and Science for ten years to high school students who were English Language Learners at the Jeremiah E Burke High school in Boston. Coming from a similar background as his students, it was a rewarding experience to be able to give back to the community. In his current role at a district level as an inquiry facilitator for the past two years, Carlos continues to work with schools to ensure equitable outcomes for all students, especially for our most at-risk subgroups. He is looking forward to learn and grow through the Data Wise Coach Certification program in order to refine his skills in service to our students.
