Chassity Coston

Chassity is a Doctor of Education Leadership student at Harvard Graduate School of Education, Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA. She began her career teaching and leading schools in North Carolina before expanding her work internationally. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she served as a school leader in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, and as founding principal of an international school in Mahboula, Kuwait. Chassity led a school in Newton, Massachusetts, which earned recognition for its work in racial and social justice, social-emotional learning, and academic excellence. Chassity is committed to transformative education, driven by her values of equity, innovation, and a deep dedication to improving American schools.
