Eleanor Mytych

Eleanor Mytych is currently the Director of Assessment at the Lorraine Hansberry Academy (P.S. 214) in the Bronx. She began her educational career with the NYC Department of Education in 2006. Eleanor has served as a 4th Grade Special Education teacher in an Integrated Co-Teaching class, provided Special Education Teacher Support Students to children in Kindergarten thru 8th grade, and supervised instruction as an Assistant Principal for Pre-K thru 5th grade and Special Education K-8. Eleanor completed the Data Wise Leadership Institute at Harvard in January 2020. Since then, she has been an integral member of the Instructional Leadership Team at her school, helping to build teachers’ capacity in leading cycles of inquiry driven by multiple data points. Eleanor is committed to using the inquiry process to ensure all students receive the proper supports during instruction to achieve at high levels.
