Isabella Robertson

Isabella Robertson is the Assistant Principal of English Language Arts, ENL and the Arts at the High school for Health Professions and Human Services in NYC. Previous to joining Health Professions, she was the Assistant Principal of a small CTE high School, the Urban Assembly School for Global Commerce, in East Harlem, NYC. Isabella has also been the Director of Renewal High Schools at the New York City Department of Education, where her work focused on bridging the equity gap in struggling high schools across the city and the Director for ELA Curriculum K-12 for the NYC Department of Education. Prior to that, Isabella was a High School ELA teacher and literacy coach.   Isabella is originally from Canada where she received a BA in English Literature at McGill University in Montreal.  She has an MA in ELA Secondary Education from City College, CUNY, and an MS in Educational Leadership from Brooklyn College, CUNY.
