Jesse Belarde

Jesse Belarde is the principal of William W. Hall Academy, a Pre-K–8 school in Prince George’s County Public Schools, Maryland. He has worked in education for 25 years including service in hard-to-staff regions where strong leadership and a deep commitment to equity are essential. He leads with the belief that every child has the right to learn—and that educators must work to remove the barriers that stand in their way, whether rooted in bias, economic challenges, or systemic inequities.
