Katie Fleming

Katie Fleming is a Senior Inquiry Facilitator for the Boston Public Schools. In this role, she works directly with school and teacher leaders to build the capacity of teacher teams across the district to improve their practice and accelerate student learning through the implementation of data-driven cycles of inquiry using the Data Wise Improvement Process. Katie began her career as a teacher in New York City public schools through Teach For America. Since then, she has returned to graduate school for an MPP degree, worked for San Francisco-based Pivot Learning Partners, supported the East Harlem Tutorial Program in the creation of a teacher residency program, and worked in New York City as a Program Manager for Teach to One. She holds a BA in Art History from Williams College, an M.Ed. from Pace University, and an MPP from UC Berkeley. She grew up in Stow, MA, where apple trees outnumber people by an (estimated) ratio of 20:1.
