Michael Calvert

Michael Calvert is the principal at Pittsburgh Morrow PreK-8, part of Pittsburgh Public Schools (PA).  Michael has worked as a teacher, coach, and school administrator in North Carolina, Ohio, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania over a twenty-three year career.  He is passionate about creating systems that support the continuous improvement of teaching and learning and ensure that the needs of all students are met. Michael believes that high expectations for students and staff, coupled with intentional implementation and progress monitoring of evidence based strategies, leads to school environments where students thrive.
