Michael Imburgia

MichaelImburgiaMichael is currently the Director of School Improvement Performance Management at Berks County Intermediate Unit working primarily with schools designated as Comprehensive Support and Improvement. In his role he works with various stakeholders to build data and reporting systems to measure the progress and impact of school improvement efforts across 94 schools in Pennsylvania.

Working with children with Autism drew him into the field of education where he later taught and was the building administrator serving students labelled with a Severe Emotional Disturbance. He later went on to work as a Research Associate with the School District of Philadelphia and Chief Operating Officer for a charter network that included both traditional and renaissance charter schools.
