Curd currently serves as the Director, Teaching & Learning and School Improvement at Pittsburgh Public Schools. With over 17 years of experience in the field of education, Sharae has served as a classroom teacher, after-school program coordinator, instructional coach, facilitator, curriculum writer, and a Human Capital Manager. She has managed various projects at both the school and district level, supported the implementation of district-wide structures and processes, led multiple cross-functional teams, and culture & climate initiatives. Sharae began her career in education as a Teach for America corps member in New York City’s Public School system. She earned her BSBA from the College of Business Administration at the University of Pittsburgh and her MST at Pace University.
