Kelly Dyer

Kelly DyerI have a Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood and a Master of Education in Inclusive Practice. For the past 24 years I have worked as an educator internationally and across Tasmania. My experiences have been vast and diverse. I first held senior position in 2009 and became Principal in 2013. Currently, I am Principal of Kingston Primary School. In 2020, I will commence my third year.In 2016 I was selected for a Hardie Fellowship. I studied alongside two other Tasmanian Principals at the DATA WISE Leadership Institute at Harvard University to further understand the strategic use of data to drive decision making and instruction. In 2019, I was a teaching fellow at the Bastow Institute.

I am passionate about empowering our staff to deliver high leverage and high impact teaching strategies creating a thriving culture of learning that enables every student to succeed.

I am partner to Scott and stepmother to Joshua and Daniel. We love time on the sea or at the beach swimming, paddling, diving, or boating.
