Lenneen Gibson

Dr. Lenneen Gibson is a Deputy Superintendent for Queens North High Schools in the New York City Public School system and has over of twenty years of experience in the education sector. Prior to being a Deputy Superintendent, Dr. Gibson has held the roles of school evaluator, Principal, Assistant Principal, and Science teacher. Prior to embarking on a career in education, Dr. Gibson conducted science research in the area of Alzheimer's Disease.

As a Deputy Superintendent, Dr. Gibson supports (26) school leaders and ( 9) instructional team members. Her change is to ensure that all students, specifically, English as a New Language and Students with Disabilities are provided an equitable and meaningful educational experiences that prepares them to be college and career ready in an every changing global society.
