Lisa Kingsley
Lisa Kingsley has worked as a leader at the classroom, school, and district level in both public and charter school systems across three states. Ms. Kingsley began her career in the South Bronx as a New York City Teaching Fellow. After moving to the Boston area she taught students ranging from kindergarteners to graduating seniors before moving into administration. In the last nine years she has worked as Associate Director of Student Services at Prospect Hill Academy, a K-12 charter school across four campuses, principal of Curtis Tufts High School, and the alternative high school director and K-12 therapeutic program manager for the most diverse school district in Massachusetts, Malden. In these roles she completed a school redesign, developed a half dozen programs, managed over a million dollars of community partnerships, provided a new model for master scheduling, and redesigned several staffing models. Most recently, as a Doctor of Education Leadership (Ed.L.D.) program candidate at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, Ms. Kingsley completed a Leadership Fellowship with the Deputy Commissioner of MA and state special education director. She served as a key contributor to the development and finalization of the Commonwealth’s revised IEP forms and in the selection of partnering vendors to develop state-wide training. She holds the MA licenses for special education administrator, Principal, and Superintendent. In addition, she is the board chairperson of the Medford Family Network, a non-profit that supports children and families from birth to age eight and is a proud Daisy troop leader for her middle child.
