Sheri Killian
Sheri Killian began her educational journey by home schooling her two daughters. When they reached high school, she returned to the classroom herself to earn a teaching certification in middle math and science. She began her career in the public charter school sector, and then moved to an urban public school district. She has served as a teacher, interventionist, instructional coach, assistant principal, and Director of Online Learning on a district level. She also has been a part of creating three schools internationally in Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Presently she is an Assistant Director of School Improvement Performance Management for Pennsylvania’s Continuous Support and Improvement (CSI) system via Berks County Intermediate Unit. She works with schools and districts to utilize data in the school improvement process. The Data Wise ladder of inference, protocols and process in general has provided her with the groundwork to have conversations rooted in evidence, be data informed, and to assist schools and districts in providing equity through the analysis of data.
