Tricia Clifford
Dr. Clifford began her tenure as Assistant Superintendent of Bedford Public Schools on July 1, 2019. Prior to that, she was the principal of the Burbank School in Belmont, from 2011-2019. Dr. Clifford was an assistant principal at the Pine Hill School in Sherborn, and at the Day School in Westford. Dr. Clifford also taught middle school math in Maine, and taught grades 5-7 in Wayland.
Dr. Clifford graduated with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Maine at Farmington, an M.Ed. from Boston College in School Administration, and an Ed.D from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell in Language and Literacy.
During her time as an administrator, which includes assistant/principal and assistant superintendent positions, she has utilized data informed leadership. During her time as a school principal she implemented data teams to improve student performance, which led to using the Data Wise process also at the district level as an assistant superintendent in PreK-12 district.
